A Film By Alexander Chettur & Roberto Mann

Three Bounty Hunters must track down the most dangerous bounty in all the old west...The Grey Death!

First written in 2024 by Alexander Chettur as a single scene, D R A W ! is a comedy western that was announced as part of the Silver Moon Pictures years slate of work as a comedy western.

This got the attention of Roberto Mann, who joined making this a collaborative project in association with Cool Shot Productions, Mann's production company.

With Chettur and Mann's new revision of the film, this required a good overhaul of a project including more comedic elements that were supported in Mann's writing and structuring.

Once the script was completed, auditioning began for the principle cast which included Frances Shadbolt-Lang, Cassandra Haswell, Bradley Jack Williams and Patrick Crowley, who collaborated with Chettur and Silver Moon Pictures on various projects in the past.

Upon completion of casting, it came down to the logistics of where to make the film, initally, Mann wanted to use the area of Dungeness for its shingled beaches as an impressive backdrop, however, this wasn't to be the case upon visiting the location.

It was then decided that areas in South Woodham Ferrers would be used for the principle photography which took place in September 2024.

The production crew was made up with people who have worked with both filmmakers in the past and new people including Elliott Reid, David William Gubb, Amy Slade, Tory Hollick, Bill Ross, Freddie Skerritt, Oscar Degirolamo and George Bone.

Post-Production was started swiftly after production and concluded in April 2025 including some additional green screen work and establishing shots in Yosemite National Park and the Grand Canyon in the United States of America.

The project had the opportunity to be screened in a variety of venues including a sold-out screening at Caddies Comedy Club in Southend-On-Sea and Central Film School in London.

D R A W ! has seen Film Festival accolades from That Film Festival in Cannes, Lift-Off Global Network in Los Angeles and the 15th Sogang Youth Film Festival in South Korea.

This was a fun project to do with a fantastic team of people both in front and behind the camera, a real laugh and something to really try more of in the future.
