The Lone Wanderer

An old man goes for a walk to a place of peace, but comes into conflict from people that push him to the lowest point he has been.

First written in 2022 by Alexander Chettur. The Lone Wanderer was established as a story that involves the themes of age, isolation and society, especially on those who are dealing with difficult circumstances in their personal lives.

This films production story began with a meeting between Chettur and actors, David Streames and Wendy Morgan in October 2024 in which Chettur pitched to them both aspects of the production and both signed on to play Jonathan and Hilary respectively.

Then auditions were held for the supporting cast, this ended up being Harry Fitzpatrick, Jake Roberts, Daisy Dole, Rosie Rees-Brown, Alex Tonkiss and Oscar Degirolamo who had previously worked on Silver Moon Pictures' previous film,

The production team that was involved in making this film included Elliott Reid, Max Kurockin, Amy Slade, Rebekah Cope and Elizabeth Jasmine.

Production was in November 2024 in which the teams were faced with incredible challenges in Storm Dennis providing elemental force of nature weather including strong winds and rain during the shooting process, but the teams were able to prevail and make the film with a positive mindset.

Post-Production lasted a few months in which the film has had its only public screening at Caddies Comedy Club in Southend-On-Sea along with a few private screening at Central Film School London.

The Lone Wanderer has seen Film Festival accolades from That Film Festival in Cannes, Lift-Off Global Network in Los Angeles and the Southend Film Festival.

This was a tough project to make due not to the nature and harshness of the material, but also the elemental force of nature during production. But we produced something in this challenging time!
